About Bay Tree Cakes

Based near Lutterworth, Leicestershire, Bay Tree Cakes was founded in 2001 to provide a wide range of cakes for weddings and celebrations, all made from fresh ingredients. From small simple cakes to large elaborate ones too!

Bay Tree Cakes delivers throughout Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Birmingham, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, regularly, but will also deliver all over the UK.

When trying to order her own wedding cake in 2001, Victoria found it was difficult to get freshly made personally tailored cakes…. so, she set up Bay Tree Cakes!

At first working from the family kitchen, business expansion has led to moving production to a cake kitchen and a growing team of great cake makers, office support and a deliveryman.

What never changes is the desire to provide delicious handmade cakes, made from carefully selected fresh ingredients – you won’t find cake mix and preservatives…. Just proper cake! Our lemon cake has the rind and juice of real lemons, our apple and cinnamon cake is made with fresh apples.

Allergies & Special Diets

As Bay Tree has grown, we realised it was tricky to find cake if you have a special diet or allergy….at Bay Tree Cakes, we try to ensure that no-one should be left out of the party! We regularly cater for those wanting cakes that are free from Nuts, peanuts, dairy, soya, gluten & wheat and egg. Most of our cakes do not contain nuts, dairy and soya as standard. Many can be made eggless or gluten & wheat free and we do make cakes for those with multiple allergies. Please do call us to discuss your needs.

We are happy to meet with you to design the cake of your dreams, but if you are seeking a simpler cake, we are just as committed to making our online collections the best they can be.

Bay Tree offers a wide variety of flavours: whether you love a traditional fruitcake, a zingy lemon cake, a rich chocolate orange cake or an elegant champagne & strawberry sponge…..there’s something to please everyone…. And if you’re having a larger party or wedding, a different flavour in each cake tier is no problem.

Collect Your Cake Or Have It Delivered

If you are local, you can collect your cake at an agreed time from us, but if you prefer, it can be delivered to your home or wedding venue. All cakes our delivered by our deliveryman, we don’t use couriers – cakes are fragile!
